But I’ll take it-how much is the dog gonna keep (laughing)? I believe the reason we are so close is because I still revere him as a person. He says, ‘Cassi, I want to put you in my will and I wanna give you my dog.’ I’m like I don’t want no damn dog. JET: Are you and Tyler Perry good friends?ĬD: I think he considers me one of his closest closet friends because of the conversations we have. When I got to L.A., I said I’m not going back. We auditioned for her and she took me to LA in 1991 for two weeks and I stayed for 14 years.
